3. Most of us like to work out with a romantic interest.  In fact, more than 61 percent of survey respondents prefer to work out with a buddy. And of those, more than 58 percent like to exercise with a romantic interest. We like to say: Couples who work out together stay together! Or at least are both healthier.

4. Exercise makes us feel more attractive—and do better in the sack.   Almost 40 percent of people are motivated to exercise because being in shape makes them feel attractive, while more than 16 percent of people admitted to working out because it increases their sexual stamina.

5. Fit people don’t just date fit people.  Those who aren’t gym rats need not fret, according to the survey. More than 86 percent of survey respondents said they would date someone who doesn’t work out.

Harris’s artworks will include four surprisingly large pieces in what has become his distinctive signature medium, graphite on Mylar. 2. “M.L. Leddy Saddle Sketch #2″ is another image of a vintage saddle, this from the legendary leather-crafters in Fort Worth.
3. “Carcass” is another oversized work, a dramatic depiction of three deeply worn saddles from the backbreaking La Frontera ranching region of southwest Texas, shown suspended by ropes.
4. “The Hand That Feeds” looks nearly like a fantasy but is the sensuous image of an exquisitely engraved antique revolver as an extension of the decorously tattooed hand and arm of its owner, a Fort Worth restaurateur whose family has worked in the firearms industry for generations (and now operates the smash-hit Revolver Taco Lounge).

These works epitomize the spirit of Harris’s singularly riveting drawings. His objective, he says, is to “persuade the observer to study an object the way I do when I’m creating my work, and it’s a way of ‘seeing’ that he or she quite possibly has never before experienced, to demand intense inspection and consideration of every nuance, the fold and flaw, bump and bruise, cut and scratch, down to the very last stitch  or hair follicle. It’s that introspection which grants relevance and realism to everything in our world.”
